HAWKSNEST ZIPLINE

MOUNTAIN ZIPLINING TOURS

SEVEN DEVILS, NORTH CAROLINA

FEATURED ZIPLINE CANOPY TOURS

FEEL THE THRILL OF A LIFETIME ON ONE OF THE NATION’S LONGEST ZIPLINES IN NORTH CAROLINA!

Don’t be fooled by other zipline claims. Hawksnest Zipline in NC is one of the largest in the U.S., with the best views and best value.

Hawksnest currently has 20 ziplines near Boone, NC, including four mega zips — two over 2,000 feet long and two over 1,500 feet long — with four miles of zipline riding with heights over 200 feet and speeds up to 50 mph. Our ziplines take you through and over trees, lakes, and creeks, with panoramic views on almost every ride. Experience the biggest and best with the spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

You won’t find a better zipline in North Carolina, North Georgia, Gatlinburg, Tennessee, or anywhere else on the east coast. We have a huge observation deck in our mountaintop lodge, which you can enjoy after your zipping sessions!

Way cool and GREAT staff!!

Awesome is all we can say. The guides were so helpful and nice that it really made our trip over the top enjoyable. We caught the leaves at peak changing so we zipped through all the yellows and reds! It was just amazing. Our family goes zip lining wherever we go on vacation and this was the BEST! THANK YOU!!!

Ahhhhhmazing!

Our guides Eric & Hampton were excellent on our zip line experience at Hawksnest! Our whole group was entertaining (shout out to Lucky if she ever reads this). Only wish the course was longer so we could have enjoyed it longer! It was our first time zip lining and we felt safe and knowledgable about how to go through the lines thanks to our guides. Wonderful views of the mountains and valley around the course. Would 100% reccomend and would do it again!

Memorable Zip-line Experience

This was my first experience zip-lining. It was me, my husband and two daughters. My heart was full when my daughters said it was such a memorable experience and they were grateful for it. I am personally afraid of heights so I wasn’t sure how I would do, but it was amazing!! I forgot how to stop on one of the zip lines but the guide stopped me and I never felt as though I was in danger. Great place. Very customer service minded. Just beautiful too!!

Great Fun

My wife and I had a blast flying through the mountains. We chose the hawk tour as we've only been ziplining once before. Matt and Hampton were excellent guides. We look forward to returning and going on the eagle tour.

Fun for all ages

We took a group of 9 (ages ranging from 8 to 52) zip lining and had a blast! It was pouring rain when we arrived, so we had to wait until conditions improved and the lines was cleared, but it was worth the wait! The guides took great care of us and my little one got to ride with the guide on 2 of the longer, faster lines!! Matt & Mike took great care of us and really took the time to get to know each of us a bit! Will be taking any of our guests looking for adventure here from now on!! Thank you!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

SOME SAFETY TIPS!

Ladies, braid and tuck your hair inside your helmet or shirt. This helps keep your hair from getting caught in the pulley during your rides. Hair, clothing, necklaces, jacket hood drawstrings, and any other items should be secured and kept away from the pulley.

CAMERAS!

Everyone wants to remember their trip. If you bring a camera, also bring its protective case and a means to secure it to your person. GoPro type cameras that can be used hands-free are good if you want to film while you are ziplining. Otherwise, you’ll only be able to film before and after each zip as you’ll be using your hands to guide and stop yourself.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING

Long shorts or long pants, long hair tied back, no dangly jewelry — and as long as your shoes are strapped to your feet, you’re good to go. Please secure any body piercings with athletic tape or remove, if possible, prior to arriving for your tour.
